I woke up very early at 5:30, earlier by an hour from when I normally set my alarm to. None of it was normal. Normally, I would’ve been happy to sell myself out just for 5 more minutes of sleep.
It’s possible that when people have true resolve, each organ in their bodies will be very cooperative. After all, it’s all their own body, so the face that ought to be given gets given anyway.
For some reason, I thought of the soymilk machine gathering dust in the corner of our kitchen. This thing had emerged within the past two years; around the end of last year, my dad got one of them from the unit.
